How do I prepare for FCPS -1 .......... here are some tips ... taken from pfmsg forum
1. You should be aware of fcps exam
2. Get recommended books.
3. Plan yourr study schedule (Study only - hours should be divided on the available time till exam, lets say if u have 6 months then 5 hrs a day would be enough, the more u study the better it is. Studying well depends on ur stamina how long u can study before ur brain gets exhausted).
4. Stick to ur plan, dont get distracted.
5. Its better to have a study partner, with whom u can discuss topics and your study problems.
6. Pray ALLAH for ur success.

salam,tell me if i need to do the whole pharma or wud general pharma be enough n also were to do it from.
like u mentioned about the recommended books, can u tell me what books are exactly required?
gen. pharma alone will not be enough at all .... get a syllabus from cpsp ... in paper one there is gen pharma and in paper two, rest of the pharma ..
Recommended books fall in two categories .. one from cpsp and other from those who have passed the exam ....
cpsp generally recommends the BIG text books, which most of the students dont go for ... students usually take benefit from BRS series, Kaplan Usmle series and MCQ books like Murad, chandkians and Asim n Shoaib
i am goin to appear in part 1 exam on 12th june 2012
salam.. i am dr bilal... i am also appearing in FCPS part 1 in dentistry on 12 june 2012..i want to ask if one fails in this exam with v low percentage then what is the criteria for him to repeat.. can he repeat or not..kia cpsp koi action to nhe laita us kai khilaf?kia Us ke PMDC ke registration pai koi asar to nhe parta? next attempt main appear hnay ke koi shart to nhe rakhi jati us kai liyay cpsp ke taraf sai? can someone guide me?

What to do of the wrong answers in chandka and murad...should they be memorised as such or we should go with the right answer.it is so annoying that there are many wrong answers in each book .a friend of mine said to ratofy the wrong answers as such..he has passed the exam..
