Healthcare Initiatives - My Letter in Daily Times

Yesterday (Thursday, 24th June, 2010), my letter got published in Daily Times, an English daily from Karachi.

Something Like PPHI in Education Sector

People's Primary Healthcare Initiative (PPHI), the program that has reopened the closed rural health facilities, and till now many poor people of rural areas have got improved delivery of health services at their door steps.

Before PPHI, in rural areas, there were closed and non functional health facilities, shortage of doctors and other paramedical staff, no budgets, no lady doctors, no facility of mobile ultrasound, no punctuality in medical and paramedical staff, detoriated infrastructure, no telephone connectivity, no community participation & awareness efforts, no vaccines for dog and snake bite, and no working maternity homes.

But after PPHI, all health care centers in rural areas are now turned functional, new energetic and young Doctors and paramedical staff is appointed on contract basis, punctuality and work is monitored, lady doctors are available, Ultrasound facility is available, infrastructure is reconstructed, new furniture is given, wireless telephone connectivity is available, community participation and awareness programs in schools are held every week, vaccines and medicines are now available and Maternity Homes are working like never before.

The success of this program can be judged by the fact that the OPD turn over has increased to 255%. The pictorial album and facts figures are available at their website.

I have personally seen few Health centers. one of my relatives contract was not renewed just because she was absent for consecutive 5 days without any application, this shows that doctors are well monitored and strictness is present.

Now, govt should start the similar program with same goals and plans in Education Sector, it will really benefit the poor cihldren of rural areas. All those improvements which came after PPHI, are really needed in Education side also.

A Filmi Act by a Psychotic Patient

Funny but Truth

Sir CJ Institute of Psychiatry, better known as Mental Hospital, situated in Husainabad, Hyderabad. On 14th June, something Filmi was done in this Hospital by a Psychotic Patient. A doctor came to visit a Patient, patient requested Him (Doctor), to give him the keys of car, as he (patient) wanted to listen some music. Doctor gave him the keys. After few minutes the patient started the car and ran away. Everyone was Surprised and Shocked, but unfortunately no one could follow him. Staff checked the records of the Patient. His name was Mumtaz Shah son of Karam Ali Shah, he was a native of village Wahab Shah, District Matiari. Then the administration shared this info with police and late night he (Patient) was caught from his native village.

Patients admitted in this hospital are not all Mental, but are Psychotic, and its not necessary that a psychotic patient has lost his memory completely (a common misunderstanding). There are many psychotic diseases in which memory is intact. So, beware of these Patients, these fools can make a fool of you. (with Sorry).

I want to ask them (Athiests) that, Marriage was founded in Religion or we can say that Marriage is a Religious Ceremony, then why do you (Athiests) get marry ?

* Those Athiests who belong to a Muslim background, why they marry according to a Muslim Law (Nikkah) ?
* Those who belong to a Hindu Background or Christian Background, why they get marry according to Hinduism and Christianity ?
* You dont believe in any Religion, in any God, then why you follow the Rules of Religion/God ?

On January 27^th 2010, in a Sindhi Daily (Kawish), I read a news that some final year students of IT Department Sindh University have prepared a software, named as “Sindhi Google”, its basically a search engine, by which you can search the web in sindhi language. This software was displayed in an IT fair, held recently in Sindh University.

At one stage of my life i was bit confused, about whom to follow whom to not, who is right, who is wrong, i shared this confusion with a friend of mine, he suggested me this book, this was the first time i heard the name of Maulana Yousuf Lidhianvi. It was my lack of awareness that i didnt heard His name before other wise he needs no Introduction to Muslims, especially Pakistani Muslims. This book is short in market, it was sold like hot cake, many editions of this book have already published. HYDERABAD WEEPS FOR PUBLIC TOILETS

(Need of Public Toilets)

Hyderabad, one of the biggest, oldest and important cities of Pakistan, lacks a very basic amenity – Public Toilets. It is therefore no unusual to see well dressed men urinating at roadsides, especially where it is written that, “peeing here is not allowed”. Now a day you will see that some village women are also doing this.

Government is spending a lot of money in constructing Flyovers but cant spend some money in building Public Toilets, and due to lack of this basic need, every place has become a public toilet. I want to call upon the attention of those government employees who are responsible for taking care of Hygiene of this city, that come and see how people have made the various corners of civil hospital a public toilet. This was the only one example, but there are many other examples also where people have made a clean place as unhygienic. This leads to an environment where vectors like flies can easily perform a role in spreading the diseases, like Typhoid and Hepatitis.


Lack of public toilets is one of the factors behind the increasing number of Water borne diseases. Diarrhea (water borne disease) is responsible for deaths of 1.8 million people every year globally (WHO). According to WHO, 88% burden of disease is attributable to unsafe water supply, sanitation and hygiene, and is mostly concentrated in children in developing countries.


You may find a few public toilets, but they are so unhygienic that people prefer roadsides over these dirty toilets. So along with making a plan of building public toilets, do make a plan for keeping them clean. Hyderabad weeps for public toilets and hopes that the authorities will come to its aid soon enough.

So Called Well Wishers of Sindh

Since two years we have seen a major development change in Hyderabad. The newly constructed flyovers have changed the look of our beautiful but ignored city. Few days back I was walking near central jail, I saw two young boys, who were spraying on the wall, and were writing the slogan and name of their regional nationalist party (JSSF). Now imagine they are doing this in front of central jail where 24/7 Police is standing Alert, and are writing on the walls of City Gate Hotel, amazing. Not only these walls, but our newly constructed flyovers are very badly chalked by almost all the political and regional party slogans. The regional parties say that they are fighting for the rights of sindh, and they themselves are ruining sindhs property, by doing such stupid stuff. They cant be the well wishers of any land. They will never chalk their own property, and will never spare others or governments property. Shame on them.

A Historical Win against India

What a historical win that was against india at centurian. Pakistan rocked the nation once again. As i said in my earlier post that whenever our team will play, they will make a new record for sure, and thats what Pakistan did on 26th September, they made 2 histories, one a historical win against india in a mega ICC event, second a historical partnership between Shoaib Malik and Mohammad Yousuf at 4th wicket and guess what ...... these both players have got 5 lac each from PCB for helping pakistan team to make a decent score.
Today (29-9-2009), i got a sms that; "Whole India will pray for Pakistan to win a match against Australia to make sure that a chance is still there for India to get in to Semi-Finals", haha haha. Aisa bhi hota hai Yarroo!

Calling Qadianis as ‘Ahmadis’ is Haraam (Forbidden)

Maulana Mohammad Yusuf Ludhianvi in his book ‘Gift for Qadians’ has written that calling qadianis as ‘Ahmadis’ is haraam.

Why and How .. ?

There is a verse in our Holy Quran – ‘Asmah Ahmed’, and Qadianis say that here the word Ahmed (Naozbillah) means Mirza Ghulam Ahmed, the founder of this false religion. Every Muslim knows this fact that Allah (swt) has used two names for our last Prophet (p.b.u.h) i.e., Muhammad and Ahmed. Mirza ghulam has taken undue advantage of the word Ahmed and has twisted the meaning of Quranic Verse in his favour, on this basis he has claimed Prophethood.
Therefore applying that Quranic Verse to Mirza ghulam ahmed qadiani is a deliberate alteration in the Holy Quran, on this basis calling Qadianis as ‘Ahmadis’ is haraam (forbidden) and unlawful.

Gift For Qadians - by Maulana yusuf Ludhianvi

Yesterday I was reading a book named ‘Gift for Qadians’ (Tohfa e Qadiani) by Maulana Mohammad Yusuf Ludhianvi, which was translated in English by K.M.Salim. This is one of the comprehensive books on Qadianis available in markets, and I think that the information compiled in this book is necessary for every muslim to know. If one knows the reality of Qadianis (which mostly Qadianis don’t know), he will call them kaafir, and will try to stay away from them.

Qadianis are now every where, they are very rich, and these days they are offering big amount of money to those who accepts their Religion. Once a muslim turned qadiani, he will no get a single chance to come back to ISLAM, so it is important for every muslim to know these liars very well. Remember few days back, we heard a news that Altaf Hussain (MQM) has given a statement in favor of Qadianis, the only reason for doing this was Money, it’s the only benefit he can get from Qadianis. (Altaf’s maternal grandfather was an Islamic Scholar).

There was a guy in our university (Lumhs) who was a Qadiani, during first few years he use to hide his identity but later on he himself told his friends about his religion. It is easy for them to hide their identity because their names are same like our names, so on the basis of name one cannot judge that he/she is Qadiani. He is a qadiani, this news spread like fire in our university, at that time those who knew what (and who) Qadianis are, they left his gathering and tried to stay away from him, and advised others to break the link with him. But still many Muslims students are in touch with him, and I think the reason for this is Lack of Knowledge regarding qadianis.

Say something about Pakistan Cricket Team - in One line

Ask this question to your friends, you will get the number of different answers ;), every one expresses their feelings differently about Pakistan Cricket Team, some will say that it's the most 'Un-Predictable' team, some will say that it's the strongest team, or a weak team etc etc.

If someone asks this question to me, i will say that, "Whenever this team will play, no matter against whom, will make the new record". Just take the example of yesterday's match b/w Pakistan and Westindies, it was the 2nd match of ICC Champions Trophy, and it was the third time that Pakistan is playing against Westindies in Champions Trophy. We have never won against westindies in champions trophy, but we did this yesterday (a new record), try to apply this on all the matches of pakistan, you will see that, Pakistan has made a new record in almost every match, no matter what the result is (Won/Lost).

Now lets see what will be the new record in the upcoming match of Pakistan, which is to be played against India on 26th september. Pakistan has never won a match against India in any mega event, so if we win this match, it will be a Record, if we lose the match, the record will be that Pakistan continued losing against India in mega events ;).

PAKISTAN: A Bed of Roses for Politicians.

People say that, “Politics is the Best Business in Pakistan”, on what basis .. ? Don’t know exactly, but reason may be that they (people) have seen politicians coming out of expensive cars, wearing expensive clothes, their children studying in abroad, they have their personal industries/factories, lots of properties, bank balance and much other comforts which an ordinary man with an ordinary business can’t afford and there is no qualification required to become a politician. They consider the bank balance of Pakistani Govt. as their own (baray mazay hain mama).

On 10th of September 2009, a statement of Gunwa Bhutto (Chairperson of PPP-SB and Wife of Late Murtaza Bhutto) was published in Kawish newspaper (a Sindhi daily from Hyd-Karachi). The Statement was, “Politics is the Business market where Politicians are sold” (haha). She was telling about other politicians but she forgot that she too is a politician (Hehe). Thanks to Allah (swt) first and then to Gunwa Sahiba for telling the truth ;), but ma’m labeling anything with a tag “for sale” alone is not fair, you should have told us the Price(s) of yours as well as of other politicians (hehe). Never mind we will search the price on Google (Mazlumon ka saathi – Google Bhai).

For our Politicians, Pakistan is nothing but a comfortable place to do business and to earn a lot of money (with or without fame). We the people of Pakistan are now feeling very unsafe and unprotected, because all the forces (Police, Rangers, Army) are busy in saving these parasites (Politicians ;)). Allah (swt) Bachae in se to . . . . . . .

NOTE: Politics (+ Democracy + Communism) is Injurious to Health.

A Statement from President House

According to newschannels, a statement has come from President House that,

"I (President) was in Jail for so many years during different governments, but today when I am the Head of the State, no any Political Leader is in Jail".

My Dear Shweet President Sahab, were you a political leader before the assasination of Benazir Bhutto ? If no, then i am sure that you are you trying to say that today the people who are in Jail, one of them will be our Next President. Am I right sir . . . . . . . . . ??
